Miami held it’s 1st annual Regional Charity PC Race on November 20, 2012 as part of the 1st Annual TigerDirect.com/Intel Holiday Tech Bash. The event had a total of eight racers ready for the event, held in the center of the main floor of the event. Actress Anna Kendrick was there and a photo of her watching the race as even published by People Magazine (see picture here).

The winners of the Miami Regional PC Race were:

• 1st Place: Ryan Hoekenga of Deerfield Beach, FL
• 2nd Place: Rocco Juliano of Davie, FL

1st place winner received:

• $500 TigerDirect.com Gift Card
• $500 donation to racer’s charity: Humane Society of Broward County
• Airfare for two to Las Vegas, NV (1/7-1/9)
• Hotel accomodations for January 7 and 8th
• Participation in the Finals Round on January 8th

2nd place winner received:

• $250 TigerDirect.com Gift Card
• $250 donation to racer’s charity: Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America
• Airfare for one to Las Vegas, NV (1/7-1/9)
• Hotel accomodations for January 7 and 8th
• Participation in the Finals Round on January 8th
