 TigerDirect and CompUSA's 12th Annual "Build Your Own PC Race" for charity will be held on Thursday, January 8th, 2009 at
the Wynn Las Vegas Resort from 5:30 - 8:00 pm. Last year's event put us over the $2 million mark in case and computer equipment donations! Held on the first night of the Consumer Electronics Show, 30 top industry journalists compete in a race to assemble systems in record time. Last year's winner, Will Smith of MaximumPC Magaizne, was awarded $10,000 in cash to his selected charity, Child’s Play. Each of the 30 participants are given the system they build to donate to the school or charity of their choice.
