Systemax (NYSE: SYX) and CA (NASDAQ: CA) team up this year at CES 2011 for the 14th Annual "Build Your Own PC Race For Charity." This year's event will be held at the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas on January 6, 2011 at 5:30PM. The race is set between 30 of the top technology journalists from major media outlets like WIRED Magazine, Laptop Magazine, Computer Shopper, Maximum PC, PC World and more. The objective of the race is to determine who can assemble one of Systemax's state-of-the-art computers with an AMD processor in the fastest time.

"Build Your Own PC Race"is a fun charity event for the PC editorial community, which this year will support the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Over the course of its 14-year history, the event has raised more than $2.5 million in cash and computer equipment for needy schools and organizations around the country. Systemax and CA will donate the computers used during the event to the center. Systemax and CA are also donating $13,500 in cash to the organizations in the top three winners' name.

Last year's winner Chris Ramseyer of TweakTown.com won the race with a build time of 6 minutes and 53 seconds! He was awarded $10,000 for his selected charity, Mooresville Indiana Parent Teacher Organization.
