TigerDirect's 11th Annual "Build Your Own PC Race" for charity.
The event will be held on Monday, January 7th, 2008 at the Wynn Resort in
Las Vegas, NV from 5:30 - 8:00 pm. Last year's event put us over the $1.5
million mark in case and computer equipment donations! Held on the first
night of the Consumer Electronics Show, top industry journalists compete
in a race to assemble systems in record time. Last year's winner, Charlie
Demerjian of The Inquirer, was awarded $10,000 in cash to his select charity.
Each participant is given the system they build to donate to the school
or charity of their choice.
