Systemax's 14th Annual "Build Your Own PC Race" for charity, sponsored by CA and TigerDirect.com, will be held on Thursday, January 6th, 2011 at the Wynn Las Vegas Resort from 5:30 - 8:00 pm. Held on the first night of the Consumer Electronics Show, 30 top industry journalists compete in a race to assemble systems based on an AMD processor in record time. This year the main event will be emceed by Dave Graveline of "Into Tomorrow with Dave Graveline".

Before the main event begins, entertainment will be provided by
Actor and Comedian Kevin Pollak.

Last year's event put us way over the $2.5 million mark in case and computer equipment donations for charities around the country! This year's event will benefit the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. All 30 computers built by the journalists will be donated to the center, along with cash donations in the amount of $13,500 will be made in the name of the top three racers.

Last year's winner Chris Ramseyer of TweakTown.com won the race with a build time of 6 minutes and 53 seconds! He was awarded $10,000 for his selected charity, Mooresville Indiana Parent Teacher Organization.
